Once cookbook

This is a useful KitchenAid stand mixer cookbook. It has beautiful pictures for the 100+ recipes (192 pages, 2015), but more importantly, it has KA icons for attachments at the top of the page and it contains mixer speeds. Both the icons and the speed information are especially important for new KA owners, so that they can learn to transfer the skills that they learn through making these recipes onto other recipes that they will use with their KA stand mixers..Besides this book, another important activity for new stand mixer owners is watching the Martha Bakes series on PBS, videos of which can be accessed free online. Every new user should watch these videos before they start to use this and other, similar KitchenAid cookbooks.

I actually feel guilty about removing a star, because the recipes inside do look tasty. I intend to make as many of them as I can. I say INTEND because this book is more like an advertisement for the KitchenAid attachments. Since I do not own the pasta, sausage, grinding attachments most of these recipes are useless to me unless I use my old standard hand-crank tools.This book is a good marketing tool for KitchenAid. I just wish there were more recipes I could USE.

I agree with reviewer who said this book is basically an advertisement to buy more attachments, it’s pretty blatant and infuriating. Besides this, half the recipes I would never make.

Great mixer and great cook book.the choc cake was fantastic

I love this. I am having so much fun with it. I am baking lots of bread, and even living at altitude, it comes out well.

Pasta recipes are great

Should have been free! This book mostly promotes accessories for the mixer.
