We loved the collection for two year olds but the three year collection is disappointing: the stories are too long and far less age-appropriate. The poems seem like an afterthought. My granddaughter never asks for this book at story time whereas she always requested the two year old volume.

Horrible set of stories for toddlers. They list stories of witches, of babies being taken away, and overall have themes that can be scary to children of this age. The authors clearly hit the mark here. I have the book for 2 year olds but was greatly disappointed by this book. Seriously save yourself the money and buy a real children’s book. This is garbage.

A Collection of Stories for 2 Year Olds was a great hit with my grandson. Each story was perfect for his age and he loved them. This book took a bit longer to blossom. Rapunzel definitely has some grim plot points (eyes blinded by thorns, father agreeing to give child to witch), and the troll story just seemed weird to us, though the trolls are silly and not scary. But at 3 1/2 my grandson now adores all the stories, asks for the book every night, and recites the story about Huggle Buggle Bear. (We still reserve Rapunzel for day time reading only--not bedtime.) This is a lovely series so far and I intend to buy them all.

I bought this book for my 3 year old granddaughter. The book has a mix of fairy tales and nursery rhymes. The illustrations are beautiful and the stories are not too long. As a former early childhood teacher, and now a Nana, I know my books. My ONLY reservation is the story of Rapunzel, in the 3 year old book. It's sort of a scary story for 3 year old, especially if you're not fond of wicked witches. But, maybe that's just me. All in all, I love this series, and will go back to get Books 2 and 4. I didn't see a Book 1.

This book is really cute and the illustrations are very nice. I like that there is a variety in the lengths of stories depending how in the mood yoh are for bedtime stories. My only complaint would be that I thought there would be more stories. It only took us about 2-3 nights to read the entire book.

So happy I found this on Amazon. I was given the other books in this series for my child, except for this one, and I wanted to complete the set so I bought this. A bit pricey especially with international shipping, but worth it for the sake of the collection.

Got the book for 2's and will be getting him one up till 5 when they stop making them. Great stories, he knows them by heart.

My youngest niece turned 3 this year and I sent her this book with great stories and there is even songs in the book!

I do really enjoy this book. Slinkachu is a favorite artist of mine. I didn't look into details much with this book before I purchased it, but the images included do seem like maybe earlier works of his. I'm not an expert, the themes just seem a little different that what I see currently, scenes are a little less elaborate. Still really fun to have and a great book. I probably could just look at the publication date and would have known what to expect, so not their fault. Just a helpful note from one hasty shopper to another.

I absolutely love this book. Or at least the scenes depicted within. Not only are the concepts often very clever and in some cases quite funny, but the execution is just brilliant with some really fine miniature work, painting, staging, etc. These must take a lot of patience to set up and photograph. The layout in the book is also nice, with the arrangement of close-up and further distance shots adding to the impact of each scene.The only reason I'm rating it a 4 star is because of quality of the book itself. It's all matte printed, which might actually fit well with the photos (hard to say without seeing a photo printed comparison), but does seem a bit underwhelming viscerally. The overall product quality seems decent, but paper and print quality just aren't awesome. All that being said for under $11 it's not a bad deal, and certainly the best way to appreciate Slinkachu's art in full.

My friend Rich:"Monku" takes amazing pictures of little train figurines with unexpected poses, garment and vehicles so when I accidentally dropped onto Slinkachu's blog and saw pictures that he had posted, I fell in love instantly with what he was showing.I waited almost 2 months to get this book because it was out of stock. When I received my package in the mail, I had completely forgot I ordered it. What an amazing little book it turned out to be. "Little People in the City: The Street Art of Slinkachu" explores the photography and the world in a way that few have seen (literally). Every page presents itself with a new image composition with little 5 millimeter sized people interacting with the world of humans. In addition to the amazing & cleverly composed scenes, sharp & well shot photography and the uniqueness overall, Slinkachu presents a message in each of his pieces. Some may be straight forward while others take an extra person to help ya out with. All in all, this book is one of the best coffee table books I've purchase. Check out "Little People in the City: The Street Art of Slinkachu" blog to see photos that weren't included in the book. Buy this book. It's only a few dollars and will support a fine photographer at the same time as it will enlighten your enjoyment. Good luck and Happy Shopping.

Super cool book! This artist as an amazingly unique I for a world we all overlook.

This is the best sort of art, which makes you stop and reevaluate the world that you normally take for granted. I have the highest praise for Slinkachu, but I also question the publisher's decision to print this book on uncoated paper (as opposed to a paper with a smoother surface, which yields a sharper reproduction). The art itself being tiny, the photos rely on detail and clarity; while I think the reproduction is as top quality as could be achieved on this paper, the very nature of the paper means that some of that detail and clarity is almost undoubtedly lost. That said, it's a wonderful book for the price.

This photo collection is amazing, it made me laugh, it made me think, and it made me feel empathy for a tiny figurine. This book is great and talks about some big issues, with some little people.

Good book. Very helpful with excellent problems for the students to work through on their own and review in class.The book is very clear and doesn't use cases from the days of yore. All modern cases, plain-language English, good exercises.Very practical. Real Estate professors should use this book. The only problem is that it is insanely expensive. Shouldn't cost so much given that it is not a typical law school tome.

It's hard to ever find a law student that says they "Love" their book, since we are forced to buy/read it. However, this book is pretty great as far as legal texts go. It isn't boring, presents hypothetical problems that spark great class discussions and gives you relevant, practical cases (from the last decade too). It helps to enjoy the topic of real estate transactions too. Obviously a student in securities regulations might have a different opinion. Anyway, for what it's worth, the authors did a great job with this one.

Used this book in my Real Estate Transactions class. It was a very easy read. Material made sense and was not as dry as expected. : ) Only the first chapter was somewhat boring. Brushes up on your property knowledge and provides a great overview of how a real estate market works including the role of lawyers in the process. Use with the following item to study for the final. Emanuel Law Outlines Real Estate Both are written by same authors which is always a plus.

Needed it for school and it was as good as any law specific law text can be.
